 Dr. Peter Nord has decades of experience leading organizations focused on caring for frail seniors in Ontario and in the United States. He was the Medical Director for a 288 bed LTCH and he was the Chief Medical Officer for Providence Healthcare, Toronto, which has developed many programs and services to support vulnerable older adults both in-hospital and after discharge from hospital. 

A practicing physician, he is also the Chair of the CCO/Access To Care ALC Advisory Committee and ALC Physician Champion for the province, a position that has allowed him to, using data, confirm the need for an affordable retirement home offering in Ontario. Dr. Nord has leveraged his relationships in Ontario to create a strong team that will guarantee successful implementation of the Stillbrook model across the province.
